Some couples opt for a simple sway, focusing on the emotion of the moment, while others might prepare a choreographed routine, adding a personal flair or even a surprise element for their guests. The style of dance can vary widely, from traditional ballroom (like a waltz or foxtrot) to contemporary styles, Latin dances, or even a fun, freestyle routine.

How I capture the magic!
I use my off camera flashes on tripods, either side of the dancefloor to ensure I don't miss a step! After the first dance I quickly alter the height and position of the off camera flashes to best light the dancefloor and the guests.
Get the party started!
Once the song comes to an end the couple will welcome their guests onto the dancefloor to join them in the dancing. The DJ will usually play something epic to follow up the first dance to make sure they get the party started!

Once I have captured the atmosphere on the dancefloor, it's time for me to go and rest my poor photographer feet! I leave the couple and their guests partying the night away!
